MUSIC & ARTS CAMP
We are looking forward to our 14th year of Music & Arts Camp The camp is designed as an immersion experience in music, theatre, improvisation, singing and art. Through group and/or private music lessons, music and theatre games, arts&crafts and other highly interactive curriculum, students not only experience and develop their skills in the arts - but they have a blast doing it!

Location: CSI 300 N Broadway, beautiful indoor and outdoor grounds!
Days, Hours and Cost: Monday through Thursday, 10:00am to 3:00 pm. $395 per week.
Program: Each day begins in rotating small groups exploring a variety of music and arts classes and ends with a collaborative music activity.
Teaching Philosophy: Sessions are led by professional staff members emphasizing the fun in learning and the value of creative arts. Rivertown Music strongly believes that music teaches more than just rhythms and notes; it teaches critical thinking skills and builds on experiences that last a lifetime. A summer camp in a relaxed atmosphere is a perfect setting for the multi-sensory approach to learning.
The CSI grounds at 300 North Broadway offers a beautiful setting, great outdoor play space, shady grounds and large indoor classrooms for instruction and a large community room for performance. We have very talented instructors, and modeled the camp on our years of experience working at the exceptional Summer Music Camp at Hoff Barthelson School of Music in Scarsdale, NY.
Four Weeks: Each week will have different curriculum and musical focus. Join for one week or all four! Every week of the camp can stand alone; the process of development and enrichment will be emphasized over the product.
Musical genres that students will be exposed to include classical to pop music, Broadway, traditional, and jazz. Campers will be split into groups of age/experience and be given private or group instruction on piano, voice, guitar, violin, strings and more.
The theatre curriculum explores creation of original pieces through exciting activities such as pantomime and improvisation as well as Shakespeare, skits, short scenes and monologues, depending on the student’s age and experience.
The camp will be driven by student’s inquiry into their areas of interest which will inform our instruction.

Music&Arts Camp is ideal for children ages 5 - 12. Join anytime, ongoing curriculum over the 4 weeks. Snack and materials included. Campers bring their own lunch and snack each day.
